Scentsy Story
Hi, I'm Valerie Quintana- your Scentsy Consultant!
I've always loved candles-but the open flames? Not so much. I was always nervous about forgetting to blow one out, so for years I only used candles during the winter months. That meant for over a decade, I missed out on having my home smell amazing year-round.
I first heard about Scentsy back in 2011 and was intrigued, but I didn't take the leap. Looking back now, I realize just how much I missed out on! It wasn't until 10 years later that Scentsy came back into my life - and this time, it stuck.
Between 2018 and 2021, I lived in Tennessee, where I met my friend Sarah. She joined Scentsy and started sharing the most adorable warmers on social media - especially the Disney collections, which weren't around when I first discovered Scentsy. I remember asking her, "Do they have anything Harry Potter?" She said no at the time.
Fast forward a few months: I had just moved back to El Paso, Texas, and saw an announcement - Scentsy was launching a Harry Potter collection! I messaged Sarah right away, ready to order. But instead of just buying, I joined - that same day, I became a Scentsy Consultant!
What drew me in was the flexibility. I didn't need to give up everything or be a business expert to succeed. All I needed was belief, drive, and motivation. And what I got in return was so much more: a supportive community, mentorship from my amazing friend Sarah and our director Brandy, and the joy of sharing something I genuinely love.
I'm still learning the ropes, but I'm having fun, meeting incredible people, and watching my business grow.
